A vacancy on the Local Pension Board

Wirral Council’s Local Pension Board (LPB) works to ensure that the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) is well managed and representative at a local level.
We are looking for a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy for the Pensioner representative on the LPB. You can read the LPB’s Terms of Reference here.
The successful candidate must be a pensioner member, and able to demonstrate the criteria, characteristics and skills outlined in the Member Role/Person Specification here.
This role is for a four-year term and will involve reviewing the financial aspect of pension fund administration, governance and ensuring due process of investment decisions, and it is desirable to appoint a person who can bring an appropriate level of knowledge with them.
