Our phone lines are open between the hours of 8am and 1pm from Monday to Friday.

If you wish to visit us at our Liverpool city centre offices, our public enquiry counter area is on the 7th floor of Castle Chambers and is open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Castle Chambers is situated on Castle Street (next to Collinge & Co Hairdressers). It is easily accessible by public transport from all parts of Merseyside. There is even a bus stop right outside the front door. Our Post Code for SatNav purposes is L2 9SH

Sending us forms and other documents

We prefer to receive forms and documents from members via our secure member portal, MyPension. If you wish to send paper forms or documents to us (e.g. Birth or Marriage certificates) please provide good quality copies as the Fund cannot take responsibility for returning originals.

You can email us clear digital copies to: mpfadmin@wirral.gov.uk while including your Name and National Insurance number and the reason for sending them.

On Tuesday 27 January 2026 we launched a new-look version of our secure online member service MyPension. Registered users will can:
 
  • access pension details and update personal information
  • complete the death grant lump sum nomination
  • access documents and correspondence
  • make pension projections for the future.
