Automatic re-enrolment

When LGPS employers reach their automatic re-enrolment date every 3 years, they must automatically re-enrol any eligible jobholders who are not currently members of the LGPS.

Employers must notify all employees who are being automatically re-enrolled within 6 weeks telling them that they are being automatically enrolled, the automatic enrolment date and that they have the right to opt out.

If you have received notification from your employer about being re-enrolled into the LGPS and you wish to opt out of membership, please click here.

PLEASE NOTE:
You can only opt out of being automatically re-enrolled from the automatic enrolment date NOT from a date before.
