Merseyside Pension Fund will be closed from 5pm on Friday 25 August 2017 until 9am on Wednesday 30 August 2017.
Active Members who are registered users of 'MyPension', and were contributing to the LGPS as at 31 March 2017, can now view their 2017 Annual Benefit Statement online.
Merseyside Pension Fund will shortly produce an Annual Benefit Statement for those active members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) as at 31 March 2017.
Deferred Members who are registered users of 'MyPension', can now view their 2017 Deferred Members' Annual Benefit Statement online.
In May, the Fund will post a P60 End of Tax Year Certificate to everyone who received a pension from us in the 2016/2017 tax year.
Just a reminder, that LGPS pensions are paid monthly, no later than the 10th of each month. If this should fall on either a weekend or bank holiday, your pension will be paid on the Friday before the 10th.
The Fund has recently received a number of incorrect requests from pensioners who wish to change their bank or building society details.
The government has confirmed the employee pay bands and contribution rates which will operate in 2017/2018.
The Fund has published our annual newsletter for LGPS pensioners, ‘The Honeypot’. This issue's leading article describes the 1% increase to local government pensions from 10 April 2017.

Local government pensions will increase by 1% from 10 April 2017 in line with the government's method for increasing public sector pensions, namely the increase in the Consumer Prices Index in the 12 months to 30 September 2016.
