In accordance with Regulation 2(3) of the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations 2013 and following guidance received from the Secretary of State, we can now confirm that the early retirement factors have been updated with effect from 1 August 2026 and will be applied to benefits taken voluntarily before Normal Pension Age.
