Local government pensions are paid monthly, no later than the 10th of each month. If this should fall on either a weekend or bank holiday, your pension will be paid on the Friday before the 10th.

Local government pensions will increase by 3% from 9 April 2018 in line with the government's method for increasing public sector pensions, namely the increase in the Consumer Prices Index in the 12 months to 30 September 2017.
