How can I project how much my pension will be when I retire?
Printer-friendly versionRegistered users can project pension benefits at retirement in the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) by using our secure 'MyPension' online facility.
In MyPension:

Active Members can make projections in 'Benefit Calculators' to project how much their pension would be if they voluntarily retire after age 55, and

Deferred Members aged over 55 can can make projections in 'Benefit Calculators' to calculate the value of their pension benefits under different circumstances, as well as request payment of those benefits if they are aged 55 or over.

The projectors in MyPension should be used for illustration purposes only and, whilst every effort is made to ensure the online facility is accurate, the Fund does not guarantee to pay any benefits projected by the MyPension facility.
Your actual benefits will be calculated by the Benefits team at your date of retirement. The 'Benefit Calculators' are for voluntary retirement only, and not retirement which requires employer approval (such as flexible retirement, ill-health retirement, redundancy or business efficiency retirement).
