The Fund publishes its annual pensioners' newsletter, 'The Honeypot'

Merseyside Pension Fund has published its annual newsletter for LGPS pensioners, ‘The Honeypot’. A printed copy of this newsletter will be posted to pensioners' home addresses very shortly.

 

In this year's issue, we cover all developments within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) which affect pensioners, primarily the 6.7% increase to local government pensions from April 2024.

 

Other articles include an explanation of the P60 End of Tax Year Certificate which will be posted out to you in May, as well as information about the change to LGPS rules from October 2023 to remove the age discrimination found in the McCloud court case.
