2026 Active Members' Annual Benefit Statements are now available
Submitted by Administrator on August 28, 2026 - 10:39amMerseyside Pension Fund has published Annual Benefit Statements for those active members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) as at 31st March 2026.
Statements are now available to view in the secure online accounts of 'MyPension' users. To view, download and print a copy of your 2026 Active Members Annual Benefit Statement:

please log into your MyPension account here [1] and
-
select 'Go to my documents' [2] in the 'Documents and uploads' section on your dashboard, and
-
select 'View files sent to me' [3] in the 'Files sent to me' section, and
-
select the ‘Active Annual Statement 2026.pdf’ document.
A Summary of your 2026 Annual Benefit Statement
When you are logged into your MyPension account, you can also view a summary of the information contained in your 2026 statement:

Select the 'View my statements' [4] button in the 'Annual Benefit Statements' section on your dashboard.

'Your 2026 pension update' screen will open, with the most recent 'Statement year: 1st April 2025 - 31st March 2026' automatically displayed.

You can view previous years' statements from the dropdown list in the 'Statement year' field.
You can use the 'Detailed info and Breakdowns' and 'How the McCloud remedy affects your pension' dropdown sections to help you better understand:

the benefits you have already built up, and
-
an estimate of what you might build up in the future if you remain in the Scheme, and
-
how the McCloud remedy might affect your pension, and
-
the death benefits that may be payable to your beneficiaries.
Printed copies of your 2026 Annual Benefit Statement
We will shortly post a copy of the 2026 Annual Benefit Statement to those members who have previously emailed or written to us, requesting a paper statement be sent to their home address.
If you haven't previously done this, the quickest way to view this and future years' statements, is to register to use the 'MyPension' service here [5].
Unfortunately, some members who may be expecting to see an Annual Benefit Statement for the current year in their 'MyPension' account will either not receive one or experience a delay. Please contact us after 31st August 2026 on 0151 242 1396 for more information.

The figures quoted on the 2026 Annual Benefit Statement provide an illustration for members and are not legally binding on the Fund. The total amount of benefits which a member would receive on retirement may be different. Members should request a Benefit Estimate from their employer before making any decision to retire.
