Reserve forces service leave

This occurs when a Reservist is mobilised and called upon to take part in military operations.

The period of mobilisation can range from three months or less and up to a maximum of 12 months.

During a period of reserve forces service leave you will continue to build up a pension based on the rate of assumed pensionable pay [1] you would have received had you not been on reserve forces service leave.
