You left employment before 1 April 2014 with entitlement to a deferred benefit and have now re-joined the LGPS

Your options will depend on the length of the continuous break in active membership of a public service pension scheme, from when you ceased to be an active member of the LGPS in the employment to which the deferred benefit relates, to when you re-joined the Scheme.

If you re-joined after having had a continuous break in active membership of a public service pension scheme of more than 5 years [1]

If you re-joined without having had a continuous break in active membership of a public service pension scheme of more than 5 years [2]
