I have re-joined the Local Government Pension Scheme

If you re-join the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), you may have a decision to make about whether or not to combine the pension account [1] relating to your previous employment, with your current active pension account.

This also applies if you had concurrent employments in the LGPS, and have previously left one of them with entitlement to a deferred refund [2] or deferred benefit [3], while continuing as an active member in an ongoing employment(s).

Please click on the following links, which depending on your own circumstances, outline the options available, together with things to consider before making a decision.

If you left your previous LGPS employment before 1 April 2014 [4]

If you left your previous LGPS employment after 31 March 2014 [5]
